Everyday care

Nail & beak natural wear

Help nails and beaks stay comfortable through an interesting life—perches, chew, forage, and play—not through trimming tutorials.

🌳

Varied perches

Mix diameters and textures—natural wood branches, different firmness levels, and safe rope options. Standing on the same smooth dowel all day does little for feet or nails. Think terrain, not a single perch size.

🪵

Chew with purpose

Soft woods, shreddables, and beak-friendly toys let your parrot work the beak the way wild foraging would. Replace destroyed toys gladly; destruction is often healthy engagement.

🥗

Forage & whole-food textures

Wrapped greens, veggie chunks, and foraging toys make the beak and tongue work. Chop is not only nutrition—it is tactile enrichment that supports natural wear habits.

🔄

Toy rotation

Rotate a portion of the toy set weekly so curiosity stays high. Keep favorites available, swap the rest, and reintroduce old toys later like new discoveries.

A simple weekly rhythm

  • Check that at least three perch textures are in the active setup.
  • Offer one new or rotated chew item.
  • Hide part of a meal in a foraging toy or paper wrap.
  • Swap two toys from the “resting” bin back into the cage or play gym.
